Our Business

Petredec has sold LPG into the Southern African region for over 20 years. In 2016, Petredec formed an alliance with locally based wholesaler Camel Fuels.

In 2018, Camel Fuels was rebranded to Petregaz and a long-term agreement with Bidvest Tank Terminals was formed to build and operate a LPG import terminal in Richards Bay with a capacity of 22,000 mts. The facility, commissioned in 2020, enjoys deep water access and is the largest in Southern Africa. Petregaz together with our partners Bidvest Tank Terminals, are proud to be leading the transition to sustainable energy in the region.
